First introduced in 1961 as a replacement for the Les Paul, the SG quickly became one of Gibson's most recognizable designs.Featuring a solid mahogany body, SlimTaper mahogany neck, and bound rosewood fingerboard, this model offers excellent playability and easy upper-fret access.

A pair of 60s Burstbuckers deliver vintage-inspired PAF tones, while the ABR-1 bridge, aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, and Keystone tuners complete its classic look.
