Description

This 1957 Martin D-18 features a natural spruce top with mahogany back and sides, paired with a mahogany neck and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. Its V-profile neck, 25.4" scale, 16" radius, and 1.680" nut width give it a distinctly vintage Martin feel, while the original single-line Kluson Deluxe tuners remain in place.

The guitar has received a neck reset and refret, along with reglued top and back bracing and repaired side cracks. Additional work includes non-original fretboard dots and pins, a large reinforcement beneath the pickguard, a plugged hole near the heel, and an oversized non-original rosewood bridge plate with a brass plate. Despite the extensive repair history, it remains in great overall condition and includes a Calton case.
