It’s been a dream of mine to visit Norman’s for a few years now. I’ve watched the YouTube channel and nerded out on their guitar of the day videos for a while. I finally got the chance to visit, and was not disappointed. Norm was awesome and great to chat with. Lemmo is a guitar legend in his own right, incredibly nice as well. The rest of the staff were super knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to hang with, giving recommendations and steering me in a direction I wouldn’t have thought of, but was ultimately the right choice. Just an overall great experience. The last truly old school guitar shop in LA, and I recommend it to anyone to try to make a trip down… and buy a guitar! They even let us stick around to watch them film a Guitar of the Day episode. Get ready to open your wallet, it’s going to be very hard to walk away empty handed. Great staff, amazing gear, steeped in history… it checks all the boxes of an amazing guitar store.

Norm's is a national treasure the people there are great and very knowledgeable..I saw a candy apple Fender Custom Shop guitar that I liked..Norm told me a little about it and I got my picture with him..very cool experience..and yes I bought the guitar

If ever in the area, please, stop in and check Norman’s out. The sales team is sensational! Upbeat atmosphere. It’s seriously a feel good place. Guitars are beautiful, Norm and his team are beautiful. Watch his documentary! Grab a book. Buy a guitar. Such a special moment for me just being there. I have been there 3x now. I consider myself lucky.

Norms Rare Guitars is among the most iconic guitar stores anywhere and Norm himself is one of the world Experts on the subject of vintage, rare and classic guitars. I have known Norm for over 35 years and been a customer of his for that long; have purchased several great instruments from Norm: my Tele, Strat, Rickenbacker, acoustic Gibson to name a few. His expert staff worked on my instruments and help bring them to peak sound and playable condition. Norm, his staff and shop are treasures. We are lucky and blessed we have Norms Rare Guitars right here in LA in our back yard!!! GO VISIT NORM’s RARE GUITARS AS SOON AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN! You will be glad you did!! JBB
