Modifications/RepairsNon-Original Bridge, Touch Up on back of headstock on low E side potentially due to a small hairline crack repair, Toggle Switch Cracked and Glued (Not Removable), Binding Crack on Fingerboard at 2nd Fret Bass Side

This 1963 Gibson ES-335 TD is a desirable early-’60s example, finished in Sunburst with a maple body, mahogany neck, and Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. It features a slim D-shaped neck profile, 24.75" scale length, original tuners, and a nicely balanced 7.4 lb weight. The original PAF pickup in the bridge and Patent Number pickup in the neck position provide the classic tones that make the ES-335 so highly sought after.

The electronics remain especially noteworthy, with two original Gibson humbuckers—one Patent Number pickup and one PAF—measuring 7.96k at the neck and 8.22k at the bridge. Repairs include potentially a very well done headstock crack repair with touch-up on the low-E side (finish is darker on that side but there is no clearly visible crack, so it is speculation that there may have been a small hairline crack that was filled and touched up), a non-original bridge, a cracked and glued toggle switch, and a binding crack near the 2nd fret. Overall, it remains in very good condition and includes its original hardshell case.
