Surprisingly Delightful Documentary!

I sometimes feel like I've seen everything on TV. I know the plots and I've stopped laughing at the comedy. I think, "That was funny. I see what they did there." Norm's Rare Guitars is a breath of authentic air in the formulaic narratives of streaming.

A Must-See

For those of you who love music and love the guitar as an instrument this is a must see documentary... After watching this, I immediately texted Drew and Stormin’, the foremost musicians in my dwindling list of friends and said, turn this on asap. When we think about all the corporate rapaciousness and impersonal way they treat customers, seeing this family own and run shop warms the heart. I absolutely loved this thing and I think all fans of rock n roll will!

Unexpectedly powerful. Hundred percent worth the watch!!

Obsessed! Glued to the screen until the very end, and what an end!! This isn’t just a film about Guitars. It’s a film about why people create, about the quiet intensity of passion, about what it means to dedicate yourself to something even if no one else understands. It was visually stunning, emotionally layered, it sneaks up on you. Full of warmth, heart and compassion! You don’t have to play an instrument, or know anything about music. This is for anyone. Excited to visit the store!

A compelling and beautifully crafted documentary.

From the very first few minutes, I was completely hooked — not just by the legendary guitars, but by the heart and history behind them. The interviews are phenomenal — honest, heartfelt, and so rich with personal detail that I felt like I was sitting in the room with each person... If you're a music lover, a storyteller, or just someone who appreciates a life well-lived and a story well told — watch this. You won’t regret it.

A Wealth of Good Storytelling

There's a wealth of good storytelling and cameos, heartfelt stories of customer interactions and info about his history of philanthropy and of course, lots of beautiful guitars. One of the things I enjoyed seeing was footage of Norm's storied Vault where he keeps the best of the best. It will definitely remind you of the final scene in the original "Indiana Jones" movie.
